First weekend of nat champs is over and i cant say that i'm pleased with how we played. Only day1 of our competition, where we played against nushigh and tp, was good. We won both games. Sun's and mon's games, where we played against ntu, np and sp, wasnt good. We lost the games. ): In the game against sp, i deflected a goal in. Urgh. It was so upsetting when i blocked that ball and it went inside the goalpost! Zzzz. The sp game was also where i took my first ever penalty shoot! Aga had a clear shot at goal but bcos of a paddle-to-hand foul a penalty was called. And i was asked to take the shot. Thank God the goal went in! I felt a tinny whiny scared when i was at the 6m mark though. Thankfully, really, that i didnt panic and i didnt tiang. In other games i did tiang open goal shots plus didnt convert my one-on-one shots! ): And i collected my first ever green card, from kenny, for a paddle-to-hand foul against ntu. Blehh. I clearly knew i was fouling..i guess anger got better of me in the game. Of course, i think the opens2 team did very well for their games. They won one game, draw one and lost one. I think they have chance to be second in their group. Now why cant the ivp perform as well?? ):
God, I maybe asking for too much, but i pray that you can bless our nus ivp team and allow us to proceed to the next stage. Let us be the top4 teams so that we can fight for a medal. I know that getting a medal isnt important. Rather, it's giving your glory. Let me feel your presence in our games please God. Give blizzards strength as we have another game remaining in the ivp stage. We need a miracle and only you can provide everything God. Please take away the stress from my team, so that we can make our attack work and not try to force shots in. Let me give glory to you through our games my dearest God. Thankyou for the win against tp and nush God. Thankyou also for blessing the opens2 team with such a good performance in their games Lord. Forgive me for missing sunday's service God. I love you God.
National championship was also the first time where i ref-ed proper games. I guess i'm considered a cp ref now? Hmm. There's not alot of certified refs so the junior refs (siti, kenny and me) ref-ed quite a number of games over the past 3days, together with a senior ref. I gave the first green card to this nush guy player for an illegal paddle-to-hand foul! But jackson and lizard says it should have been an illegal kayak tackle foul though. Oops. =x The past weekend was so warm though! I got so much darker now! My complexion! *sobs* Ohh. Apparently there's a superstition that if you put chilli on the competition venue it wont rain but it'll be very hot! -.-

Food!!
And last wednesday I personally became the chef, cooking 3 dishes on my own! *claps claps* I think they taste not bad! Grade: B+. Hehe. I especially liked the first dish I cook. Pork with oyster sauce and ginger! The prawn and sotong was soso only, but I didnt like the sauce. The xiaobaichye was cooked just right, but it was abit plain. The quantity was too much though! It was supposed to be a meal for 2 people, but I think the amount I cook can feed 3. Heh.
I dont like to do walkdowns at sp. Correction, I dont like to ref games that xianda/mogui play. I especially dont like xianda no3. It's demoralising when I go there for my walkdowns. ):
