Back from the class chalet! I'm tired! zZz. I didn't sleep much at the class chalet.

The class chalet I would say, was rather a contrast from the class bonding session, BUT, luckily, it was only for a period of tine (the not so high moments). A few of us felt quite frustrated yesterday afternoon. And it's all cos of the hot weather! Hmmph. We had nothing to do in the afternoon and was debating between escape and wild wild wet. Since some of us girls couldn't go down to the water, we decided on going escape instead. And so we went to escape. I guess the hot weather got into us then. We sort of got cranky and was in a foul mood. Alot of them left after just sitting one ride cos of the weather. The guys went to swim, the girls back to the chalet. So in the end, it was only yt, yvonne and I who stayed back. Even then, we only sat on 4 rides in total. The weather was super super hot! We then spent the rest of our time playing the carvinal games and won back another class pet! It's called roll-a-ball, named after the game station we played. Roll-a-ball could have gotten herself a partner, but then halfway through, while I was so close to winning the game, there was something wrong with the machine. hmmph. And so roll-a-ball is without a partner.

Rewind back to the first day. A few of us met up at 4.00pm, which was the check in time, at the bus interchange. It started to rain so we went to whitesands to get some more food for the bbq on the second night. At downtown east, we attempted to check in. We forgot (okay, didn't know) that we had to have someone who's 18 and above to check in. Luckily, anqi's classmate, a PRC scholar, was 18 and could help us with the check in. So we went to G1717 and started playing bridge...And we, the girls, learnt how to play winning eleven from the guys! It's a fun game. Not to mention, addictive as well. Now I understand why our class guys keep playing it.

Now back to yesterday. In the evening, we had a class bbq. Things started to get more high then! Plus the food was nice too. =) miss ng, miss cai and mr hong joined us for the class bbq too and we played polar bear. Hoho. Now we know who can be a potential murderer in future and who's good at spying! haa.

Then after all the food has been eaten and the teachers had left, we went to play water bombs! fun fun! Initially, we played inside the chalet compound but then we were told to move somewhere else to play. And so we proceeded to the park. Then continued playing. There was a point where I just kept laughing and laughing and laughing. I think it's cos I couldn't throw the ball straight up. So I ended up getting whacked by everyone. Painful!

When we returned back to the chalet back at 2 plus, some of our classmates who didn't join us in the water game had slept. Imgaine squeezing 16 people inside one room! Everyone was quite squashed. Somehow or another though, most of us fell asleep while a few stayed up to play winning eleven. It was interesting, looking at the sleeping habits of your classmates.

Now since we had to check out today, we were out of bed by 9.30am. After bading farewell to the chalet, we went changi to have breakfast. By then, most of us were half dead. So after breakfast, we all headed home.

MIDNIGHT!/ Sunday, November 19, 2006

=) I love 27/06.hee. *grins*

We had a class bonding session today, which was fun fun and more fun. The bonding session took place in the form of an amazing race, where our class was splitted into 5 different groups and had to travel around certain parts of Singapore. Fabian, who was the main orgainiser of this whole activity, kaiting, jillian, yong biao, weide and I were the facilitators for the amazing. What we had to do was to bring our group mates around the designated checkpoints and then to allow them to complete certain tasks. Initially, each group was supposed to have at least 4 members. However, a few of them couldn't turn up, ie. jia chang, terence, adrian and samuel. Hence, some of the groups had less people, like my group! Nonetheless, though our group only had 3 people, namely, fred, miss cai and me, it was still an enjoyable and fun experience! =)

The facilitators met up an hour earlier, at noon, to finalise details of our amazing. I had leave service early because of that! =( So we finalised all the details..then at one o'clock, the class gathered at amk mrt station. Fabian briefed everyone and then we set off.

Our first station was jubilee, where the team had to play a game in the arcade for ten minutes using only one credit. It's not easy! Fred had to attempt twice before I allowed him to pass that station. And I think the games there are expensive! One game for $2? Ouch.

look! only one hand to hold the 'gun' to play! zai arh.

While other teams choing to their destinations, we walked. The only expection was when we ran to catch bus 22, which was to go to our second destination, a cafe which means I love you. Along the way, our group passed fabian's group who happened to be in another bus, 853. Hence we reached ti amo cafe earlier! :) But then, we slacked there. Hehe. I think our group is the only team which went inside the cafe to order something to eat? I've got to give credit for both miss cai and fred for being able to memorise the names and dates of births of our classmates there, and then solving the algebra equtation..

We then proceed on to the crocodile farm. The 3 of us trekked there. Along the way, fred shared with us some insights about gangs..quite interesting to hear it. And poof! Before we know it, we reached the singapore crocodile farm.

now you wonder if they're the same crocs? hmm.

When we were done with looking at the crocodiles, we went to toa poyah hub, where the both of them had to answer several questions about fabric of the nation, such as locating where jamie teo's patchwork was. It wasn't an easy task, and they used one joker card so that I would help them by providing some hints. To use the joker card, you had to tell a joke and make sure that the facilitator laugh. In my case, fred was the joke. He just said the word joke, and I started laughing. I don't know why! I think fred is just super funny! He can just make me laugh within 3 seconds... .

grp photo taken with the fabrics!

The next station was to be changi airpor.t However, miss cai and fred decided to fast forward that station since they felt that it would waste too much time and wouldn't be worth it. Miss cai had another reason. She didn't want to be reminded of the bf whom she had sent off to australia for reservevist. Hence, we had to remain at toa poyah for 30mins and we had food again, this time at macs.

Then, we had to proceed to clarke quay mrt station, where we had to climb 90 steps within 30 seconds. That done, we went to the rainbow bridge located along singapore river. One team member had to piggy back another memeber to and fro the fridge for 5 times, wihtin 3 minutes. That task was one which our group didn't exactly complete.

fred piggy-backed me!

Later on, we went to the clarke quat street fountain. There, we had to find someone to play the hei bai pei game with us. We walked around the fountain a few times, but couldn't find any locals to play with us. In the end, we taught a toursit how to play the game. Since the team lost the game, forfeit! Fred had to sing him in front of the fountain for one minute.

And finally, our last station, the instana park. They had to complete the mrt chart and then play the walk the box game. If they forgot the sequence, they'll have to restart. As punishment, they'll be drawn by me too! Hee. I managed to beautify someone's arms! =P

Finally with all the tasks completed, we proceeded to the ending checkpoint, weiyee's workspace. sobx. We were the last team to arrive! But never mind, we took our own sweet time along the way you see.

Dinner was at cine's pasta mania. I had unglam moments there! Kah ho took videos of me laughing away! Hmmph. Fred kept trying to make me laugh! bish. We managed to fool miss cai with some lame stuff too! And after that, we went to the neoprint shop to take pics. But, we only took 2 shots when the machine hanged! We had such difficulties squeezing 19 people inside the machine and it had to hang! So in the end, the neoprint exercise failed. Hence, we went to level 5 to take a class pictures and then left. Along the way, we were sort of feeling high! Playing around and doing weird stuff..

So that wraps up the class bonding session today! It's been the success. Thanks fabian, for taking the initiative to plan this activity and making is such a success. xin ku! Thanks fred and miss cai, my group mates today! I've learnt quite alot of things today. Thank you. =)

Haix haix. I hope I'm not falling sick! I keep sneezing today and I've got a sore throat. Hoepfully, the medicine which I've taken will help!

Back to friday activities, it was day 2 of ITC. We only had an orienteering acitivity and lashing revision. The orienteering game was especially benefiacial. I learnt new skills and refined my old ones. Of couse, lashing sessions was okay too. After that, mr chin talked to us about ODAC, what we taught and next year's activities. We're given more leaway to plan activities now. Which means great responsibilty. And, we have the ODAC insturctor shirts now. That shirt, signifies alot of things. For one, it means that our mindset will have to change now..

MIDNIGHT!/ Thursday, November 16, 2006

Physics lecture ended early today, at 9.30am, when it was supposed to be till noon. Hence, jc, jon and I were able to join the other odacians for abseiling, where I leant alot of new things and was able to abseil again. There's so many things to learn, I realise. Abseilng is only about knowing how to use the figure of 8 descender, being able to abseil down but also includes other things, such as the belaying component. And God gave me the opportunity to learn about them. Thank you. =)

Besides the abseiling course, we had the instructorship training course as well, where we refreshed our belaying techniques, tent and orienteering skills. We shouldn't always assume that we know everything, even if we have had the knowledge. We can forget. And there can be concepts in which we are unsure of. Yupp. That was my take away from day 1 of the ITC.

A few of us did drills in the middle of the parade square after ODAC had ended. Initially, we were filming a new odac scandal, but somehow, we ended up doing drills...quite crap, but nonetheless, fun. :)

Jia Wen and I went j8's LHS after that where I had my dinner and we chatted quite abit. I think it was a rather reflective talk? Haa. It made me think about things..what is it that makes cedarians special?
thanks ger, for accompanying me to dinner today. I enjoyed the chat, did you? =]

9 of us (meiying, huizhen, wynee, yuan han, fariha, jonathan, anothony, kenneth and me) went to catch the movie step up yesterday. The dance moves plus the music was so nice! The plot, though, was predictable. Overall though, I didn't mind paying $7 to watch this movie, since I had the company of odacians and good dance moves accompanied with nice music! It's been a long time since I watched a movie too. But why is the cinema so cold?? I was shivering inside!

ASO dry run today! We were splitted into different groups and had to try out the route which our assigned group would be taking. So we went around to different areas and tried out some of the games. I had my first attmept at sudoko today. It's quite an interesting game!

And yays. OP is finally over. Having 6 moderator isn't that bad after all..No more project work from today onwards! Hee. Looking back though, PW isn't exactly a bad thing, as much as it has caused us alot of headaches and troubles. PW has allowed me to know 4 of my classmates better . We would meet during or outside school hours to discuss our project work, sometimes digressing abit to talk about other things. And I'm thankful also that we didn't have very large major conflicts.
xingying, shuxuan, weide and kah ho, thank you for being my groupmates! I have learnt different things from you people, be it looking at things from another perspective or the way you people lead others. =)

Hmm. I have been having weird dreams lately. I wonder if it means anything. Just the other day, I dreamt of lance and yeehan. The 3 of us had to go east coast food centre. We were being transported around different areas and yet, the van let us down at a place very far from east coast. And so, we had to walk a long way there. Then halfway though, while crossing the road, a car came towards us and nearly banged us down. But, it managed to stop in time. While we reach the food centre, the queue for food was long so I left yeehan to buy the food, which was loacted at level 2, while I went to look for lance. Lance had gone to buy fabric paint. Then at level 1, I saw lance talking to the owner of a porridge stall who happened to be my dad's friend. Glancing around, I noticed 2 of my friends eating they beckoned me over to ask me to finish the food. I can't remember the other details of my dream. I do know that I didn't finish my dream as I was woken up by a morning call...

Now isnt' this dream weird? Firstly, in my dream, the road to east coast was so different from the reality. It was pitch dark too. Secondly, east coast food centre has only one level and it doesn't sell fabric paint. Thirdly, why would lance want to buy fabric paint?

And then yesterday, I dreamt about going to the toilet. Initially, when I came to the toilet, I was shocked. I thought there was some mistake, that the toilet was not a toilet at all. However, someone told us that it was a toilet and taught us how it operated. The toilet was very different from our normal toilet. It had water and a raft which was made up of 4 bamboo poles attached together plus a scooper. A unique toilet which I have never seen before. Basically, you will have to climb onto the raft and make sure that there is someone to stablise you in order to relieve yourself. In my dream, I was wearing jeans, so the moment I touched the water, I screamed because my jeans was wet. Then somehow or another, I wasn't successful in relieving myself, in the sense I couldn't find a comfortable position. Then there were people watching me, one of whom was ma'am xiaofen. And she scolded me. Weird right?

A sad, tearing face.

=( =( =( =( =(

I HATE being hurt by others. I HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT.Why why why why why must you hurt me??? You haven't seen me crying for a long time is that it? Well, are you happy now? Because yes, I'm crying now. But no, I'm not doing it in front of you. Why let you gloat over it? Like you will feel guilty. I doubt you even have a conscience.

Argh.Numb. I hate it! What are gers so emotional?? Why can't they not be bothered by what others do to them? Why are they so weak and defendless? Sigh.

Control control control your tears. No one will pity you. This sucks man. You're too overboard MR JEREMY. bish bish bish. ***********

I don't want to stay at home anymore. I want to run far far away. Away from reality. Away from my family. Must you say such hurting words as well mom?

I really don't know what you people want.

And I'm sorry if I have hurt you, my friends, unknowingly. I know it's a horrible feeling. I really sorry.

I'm sorry yiting that I nearly hurt our friendship today. I shouldn't have said too much.

I'm sorry selina that I haven't shower you with enough concern, because I really think I've neglected you at times.

I'm sorry meiying that when you needed consoling, I wasn't able to do so because I'm bad at things like this. I'm sorry that at times when you asked me out, I rejected it because I was busy.

I sorry odacians, 27/06... if I had been insensitive and had hurt your feelings.

Damm you.

Can't you treat me with RESPECT?

Couldn't you just show even some basic RESPECT to my belongings? The mp3 player may doesn't belong to you, so don't you know that you have the responsiblity to take care of it, instead of handling it any old how?

I HATE the way you treat my things.

FANTASTIC. So now my mp3 played has hanged once again. And what did you do after it hanged? I wasn't expecting you to repair it, but surely an apology wouldn't be too much to ask for? But no, there was not even a mention of sorry. Instead, you threw my mp3 player onto my bed, in a rough manner.

So now I shall persume that the way you want your things to be handled in a rough manner? When I take your stuff, I return it back to it's original place, in the same if not better condition. When did I ever spoil your things? Now why can't you do the same for mine?

And please be reminded that in the first place, you took my mp3 by force, against my consent and despite my protests. No, you just don't care about how I think or felt. What matters was, once again, your own selfish opinion. YES. Things had to be done your way.

Perhaps I wouldn't have felt this way if you had showed that you can take care of my things and that you respect my decision.

What's wrong with you? Or is it my fault? I'll mention it once again; I hate being forced to do things against my will. So why are you always forcing me to do it? Because you think it's the best solution for me? Why is it that I don't see it though? Am I that ignorant?

How GREAT. You just forcefully transfer files into my computer, without my consent. As usual. Now I don't even know what files you transferred and which folder you have transferred them into. My own computer. Yet, I have no control over it. How ironic.

RESPECT. Can't you have some for me? Is it so hard to have that?

So now, you must restort to blackmailing me. Congrates. Just to let you know, I have no choice but to accept your blackmail. But trust me, it's done in the most unwilling manner, against my own will. What else can I do otherwise? Stand up for my own rights? Yeah right, like you'll allow me to do so.

I HATE IT.

Yes I know. It's the same old similar post. You see, I need an avenue to vent out my dissatisfaction against you. Otherwise, I'll go mad. I really cannot tolerate your behaviour. Yet, I'm helpless as to what can be done. So I can only note it down.

Yays! My first visit to vivocity today! *grins* fabian, yong biao, jillian, kaiting and I went there today. We wanted to check out if that venue would be suitable for the class dinner. But then, we felt it was too crowded adn hence unsuitable for a class dinner. So 27/06, we would be having our class dinner after the bonding session at another venue! =)

Hmm. The 5 of us didn't really do much shopping there. jill, fab and I sat at a place stoning while yb and kt went on a 'date' to toys 'r' us. Then we left after a while and went home. So I haven't explore the place fully yet. Anyone wants to go there with me? hee.

*groans* I have a sore throat! How how? My oral presentation is on monday! I don't want to lose my voice!! =(

MIDNIGHT!/ Tuesday, November 07, 2006

It's really such a coincidence. Yiting and I went to the fbt warehouse, which is located near cedar, after school today. On the bus journey, the both of us were talking about np days and about when atc would be held this year. Then jy updated me with this year's atc. Now I truly understand the meaning that God answers your prayers in different ways.

Looking through aries annual training camp proposal made me realise how much I miss np activities and crater. In particular, it feels like i'm tranported back to the days when crater planned for the annual training camp. We did alot of work and planning for the atc back then. I can still vividly remember the hours we spent together, be it in our different departments or as a squad, dicussing and debating about our proposal. All the time we spent bought all of us closer together and each of us recognise our own important responsibility. We put in alot of effort in planning for the camp, looking through each and every single detail of our 150-page proposal at least twice, to make sure that we didn't leave anything out. We held on to this strong belief that if we had to do anything, we must put in our best effort and accomplish it well. True, we didn't had a perfect atc. There were some unforeseen situations which happened. But if we had a perfect camp, crater would not have learnt as much.

Then there was the nco camp crater went through. The 3 days spent together was a period where crater bonded even closer together. We had endless changing parade. We had to go to guys' style pumping position in the dance studio holding our water bottle and 'life'. Many of us shed tears, because our squadmates were suffering. What our ma'ams said to us was impactful as well. We were punished for wasting eggs and had to say "we are sorry eggs" while doing knuckle pumpings in the school track. When we wasted alot of time being slow in our movements, we were made to run in the courtyard in the middle of the night for to pay for the lost time. We had to learn how to pitch up tents which were totally foreign to us since we had never been exposed to that particular type of tent in the late night. There was alot of shoutings I remember and everyone was trying to help in one way or another, although we didn't know exactly what we could do. The punishments sound harsh, and was probably harsh. But, without all the tough moments, we wouldn't have be as bonded. So in a way, I'm thankful that I went through all that.

Others may not agree with my stand, but I firmly believe that adversity brings people closer together. (Is there such a phrase?)

Crater. I miss all the times we had together, be it the times we spent as a cadet or as NCOs. We had ups and downs, disagreements and moments of joy, all of which we went through together, as ONE. One for all, all for one.

We shot. We danced. We cheered. We pegged. We led. We acted. We sang. We pledged. We cared. We climbed. We pulled. We flipped. We cried. We laughed. We endured. We made. We sewed. We ate. We cooked. We helped. We ran. We jumped. We camped. We organized. We perspired. We planned. We arranged. We tied. We wrote. We spoke. We found. We learnt. We exercised. We shitted. We vomited. We looked. We gossiped. We grumbled. We felt. We compete. We listened. We fainted. We cramped. We sprained. We ridiculed. We pumped. We posed. We played. We walked. We bathed. We slept. We prepared. We marched.
We won. We changed. We can’t stop. We are. Crater.

Yays! The chinese 'A' level paper is over! *jumps in the air* But sigh, I've discovered a 4 marks mistake in my paper. Haix. I want to get A grade!! It's all done and over with, so I shalln't think about it, for now.

ODAC today! We had the ASO dry run today. Actually, it feels more like a briefing as we didn't exactly carried out the actitivies for the ASO. After the breifing ended, we spent approximately 1.5hours crapping away, waiting for joseph to come to brief us about the stong expedition. And while waiting for him, jia ying and jing xin came to join us.

After hearing joseph's briefing, I'm terribly excited for the trip to stong! Looking forward to it! =) It'll be a great expedition I'm sure, regardless of the weather condition. YES it will be. =)

I have decided, that I shall take up the level 2 climbing course! Yupp. And that means, I have to start saving up $80. Now why is the course so expensive?? But well, I don't regret my decision since I have interest in sport climbing .

Hehe. Several ODACians hang around after the briefing ended. Stacy and I went jogging while meiying, jia chang, jonathan, jia ying and jing xin bouldered. We went to join them after we were done. And then, with the exception of stacy, we had dinner at KFC.

Now comes the funny and unglam part! After dinner, meiying, jing xin and I went to the mrt bus stop to wait for the bus. Meiying's bus came first. So she said bye to us, in a "yays I get to go home first since my bus came earlier" manner. Alas, that was not meant to be. While she approached the bus, it just went past the bus stop. Unglam meiying! It's hard to describe the scene in words...but the entire scene then was super funny. I couldn't stop laughing about it, to the extent that my stomach hurts! I think alot of people were staring at us then. Then after a while, our bus came! Yays. So jing xin and I boarded the bus, with me still laughing away but in a more controlled manner and saying goodbye to meiying with the same manner she spoke to me. And then, when I tried to wave to her on the bus, my handphone flew out from my hand and into the exit door there! Unglam me. =X Somehow, I just couldn't stop laughing on the bus. It took me some time to control it.

I'm in a high mood today. I feel like I have lots and lots of energy and need to release them!

I'm looking forward to our class bonding session! It's going to be an exciting activity. I went recceing with fabian, weide, yong biao, weiyee and jillian yesterday. And it was fun! I am so tempted to note down all the things we did, but, it's not the appropriate time yet. If I were to do that, the 5 of them would murder me. It was great. Oh. It was my first experience travelling in a LRT yesterday. I realise that they don't have glass panels at the end of the seat, so it seems like you can easily slide your butt out. Then it was my first time to xxx and xxx and xxx. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. I know I know, I shouldn't say too much. So it's only xxx and with one photo, which was taken close up so you can't find out where we went!

PS: even if you know this place, just assume that you don't alright? =P

replies!
j-wen: hmm. I've assumed that the lens fell out. So I shall still continue to wear lens.
wynee: yupp, i'm AJ134. which means we're in the same slot. and which means, i have 6 moderators for OP. =X
meiying: unglam unglam!
