Hohoho. I'm feeling super high now! -.-

Retail therapy in town with yt today! :) Got myself new pants, shoes and top! But I spent alot too. Like $100 odd. Sobs sobs. Nvm, i'll earn them back in Dec! We watched Quarantine at cine in the afternoon before shopping. It's a NC16 horror movie. And it really lived up to the horror name. I got quite freaked out during the movie and screamed a couple of times. Yt too! =x I didn't enjoy the plot though. It just ended too abruptly and left some parts hanging. After the movie, it was shopping at heeren, taka, wisma, far east...the stretch along orchard road. Hee. Saw alot of people too. From fabian's friend to charmaine to moon yee and eng chen. And I didn't recognise any of ladies until they came up and said hi to me! =x Too engrossed in looking at the clothes. Haha! And I a happy girl now because I shopped, got some things which I was looking for and had a good time talking to yt! Guys are pos. Haa.

*claps claps* Exams are over!! 8 essays questions, 2 open ended questions and 40 mcqs done and over with. Thankfully. Econs paper was tough though! Sigh. I hope I'll perform well! Whoa. In a flash, semester 1 is already over. Holiday period now! Going to work, meet up with friends, go for trainings and have fun! Excited excited!! :D It's going to be a packed holiday! I hope I have time for everyone!!

Hmm. I haven't been sleeping well lately though! Sigh. I can't seem to fall asleep at night yet I wake up before my alarm rings in the morning. I need the rest but I don't know why i'm not getting enough rest. But I'll have a good sleep tonight cos I'm already tired now. Haa.

I've been a lazy bum this few days. I wake up very late in the morning and stay at home the entire day. I didn't step out of my house yesterday and today. No motivation to go exercise either. =x

As I listened to the news today, it was mentioned that "Credit card loans up by S$840m in 12 months to Sep". Our finance minister, "Mr Tharman, was giving these updates in Parliament in response to questions on Singaporeans' debt accumulation in the past year in light of the flagging global economy. " Prior to this, it was reported that "Singapore's budget deficit could be three times larger than initially estimated this year partly because of the global economic turmoil." Then came news about citibank's job cuts as well. As I listened, I wondered why the media is trying to instill even more fear into the country. Singaporeans up-to-date with current affairs know that Singapore is in a technical recession. Lumping the news about the government's budget deficit, job losses and credit loans isn't painting a very optimistic view of the Singapore is it? If you ask me, that Singaporeans debt accumulation has increased shows that they're pretty optimistic about the future. Seems like the Parliament are not confident about Singapore's economic future though, since they queried about it. Maybe I'm wrong. Aiya. I'm not very sure how to properly phrase what's going through on my mind now. I can only say we shouldn't just accept news as it is presented to us. Listen and digest them with a pinch of salt.

On Sunday, I helped out with a charity swim. I found it to be a rather meaningful event. Hats off to the swimmers who completed 5km/10km out in the open sea. It was no easy feat. I was supposed to looked out for the safety of the kayakers but towards the end of the swim, I had the opportunity to follow a swimmer. Looking at the swimmer, I was amazed at how he had the strength to carry on, stroke after stroke. The swimmer was swimming against a very strong current and was actually stuck at the same spot for a long period of time, but he never gave up. A good job done swimmers. Hmm. 25th comm helped out with this event too, so I got the chance to interact with some of them too. Dinner that night was bbq at changi...went to coffee club with lance and ss after that. Their mudpie is addictive.

Saturday was spent with mummy. I haven't been spending alot of time with my family, so when mum wanted to go for the food fair, I agreed to accompany her. The opportunity cost was my studies, but I managed to complete that at night...so it was my maiden trip to the expo food fair! I think we spent quite abit. My mom bought tonics there. Besides that, we had food too. Tried this popiah there that was really good!!! I like. Overpriced though, at $2 per roll. But there was also cheap $1 chicken rice! Haa. And alot of food samples to try too!

I'm supposed to be studying! Back to revision!!!

Feeling crappy now. Roars. There's quite alot of things weighing down on my mind. Studies and commitments mostly.

Exams are 15 days away. I'm not even half way done through my revision! Going to choing through them in the next 2 weeks! Stress stress! LOL. I shan't procrastinate and shall study hard plus smart!!!

Not going to mention about the commitment issue at the moment yet. But it's affecting my mood quite abit. Sianed.

I should feel happy that I just ran 8km. So why do I feel shitty?

And at the end of the day, we all have our own problems that we need to face and solve. But I think it helps a great deal to say out the problem.

Whatever.

Studies shall be the best distraction.

Hoho. I'm supposed to be studying now. But look what I'm doing. Blogging! Dang. I'm feeling high and happy! Hahaha. Ms Foo is at my home now. She's diligently studying. Unlike me. I'm actually taking a break from German. Tough tough! So hard to remember. Bleah.

I had a weird dream last night. Dreamt of the coaches and 1241. I had to do some forfeit together with 1241. It was a super paiseh forfeit, so I shan't say! The others were like laughing and laughing in my dream. zZz. Meiying wanted to take pictures too. And the forfeit was done in such a way that it caught me off guard and I was super shocked. Zomg.

Funny how my dreams always revolve around the people I know in such unexpected manner.

Yesterday was a mentally draining day! I went to school for German lecture from 8-10am, then it was study study study all the way until canoe polo training in the evening. In between I went for my geography project meeting too. All the econs terms were floating in my head yesterday! I'm going to be a mugger for the next 2 weeks. Haha.

During canoe polo training, we had to do 2 sets of 8laps sprints! Groans. Tiring leh. Thankfully we only had 10 laps of paddling instead of 20 or 40.

Whee! It's been a fun filled weekend! (:

I went down for the marina barrage opening together with meiying, siti, ss, jeremy, daron, teck koon, willie, uncle sungjuat, wilson and uncle lim. We went down to Kallang WV then took the power boat to marina barrage. No one signed up for the kayak try-outs in the morning, so we just played around! Monkey! But it's not fun when jeremy hit the ball on my head! Hmmphh.

It's not everyday where you can take pictures with the Singapore Flyer and the buildings in the background!

After lunch when still no one signed up for the try-outs!

I put this picture because I think Jems look like a monkey from this picture! With slim Eugene behind the ball! Haha.

In the afternoon, the first 'customer' arrived! I stayed on land most of the time briefing the participants...got some tips from mengteck about my MOI too! After the event ended around 6pm, we sat the powerboat back to Kallang WV again! Then it was dinner at Singapore Flyer!

We walked all the way from Kallang to the Singapore Flyer! Took this dark picture at the back of the flyer. The red dot at the flyer spoils the picture!

There was the Halloween theme at Singapore flyer hence the pumpkin. Our group picture! A pity we didn't take any group picture at marina barrage.

Then the guys went World of Sports to shop. For once, us girls weren't interested so we took pictures!

We had ice-cream after that and sat on the second level of Marina Square.

It was home sweet home after that! I dozed off again in front of my computer! zZzz. Been doing that for the past week! Roars.

On Sunday it was ice-cream again when we took a break!

When it started to rain we got too bored and started to find things to do...

It rained in the afternoon so we ended early. Brought all the boats back then went for dinner at army market. And it was ice-cream again for desserts. Fattening!!! But the ice-cream there is really good! :D

I've been kayaking almost everyday last week, except on Friday! Special training last Monday during the Deepavali holiday! Mengteck went down to changi! It was a really good opportunity to learn from him! Which my, alice and I did! And he said we could go for 4 star! Happy happy. (:
Then there's canoe polo training too which means more paddling!

I managed to catch High School Musical 3 with charles and ss last Wednesday too! I quite like their songs. Haa. We watched the digital version but I don't know what's the difference between the normal ones. Rode on Charles's bike too. He probably didn't ride very fast, but I did think that way, since it's only my 4th time on a motorbike!

Rewinding back to last weekend, it was my first time signing certs! I took jurongville secondary for their 1 star course. They learnt something, and I learnt something too!

This lady besides me had her L1 assessment during that weekend! And she cleared it!! Congrates congrates! Hee.

Final year exams coming up in 3 weeks time! That means less paddling and more time spend on studying! And there's 2 more tests before my reading week. Bleah.
