What does my future lies?

ROARS. I'm in a bad mood. Emo emo emo! URGH. Crybaby crybaby crybaby.

The weather just has to be so hot nowadays. Even with the fan switched on, I perspire. It's super uncomfortable. Mornings are no longer cooling, but humid. The hot weather is making me very hot tempered as well. Small incidents can just affect me pretty easily, whether it keeps me happy or sad.

And I think the week so far has been bad. Sure, I do count my blessings for all the things made possible. I'm thankful that Krystal remembered my birthday, thankful for my helpful colleagues, thankful that I had lunch with Fabian today, thankful that I cleared part of my work, thankful for my friends...Nonetheless, there seems to be more unhappy incidents than pleasant incidents this week.

Sel was supposed to come to my company to work, but it's been a week, and the lady hasn't called her yet. I do feel really bad, because I was the one who asked her if she wanted the job. This guy told me they were looking for people and I've already passed that guy Sel's contacts. Yet, no one has contacted her to date. Haix.

Then Meiying has been spending alot of time in this job which I recommended her. She's doing ot until late at night, or even after midnight! It's definitely not easy, not to mention that it'll drain her physically. What kind of friend am I man. To get her this kind of job where she has to burn long hours and don't have that much time to herself.

Yiting is also another busy busy girl. I know she wants to make time for me, but she's really tied down with work. At least she makes the effort to message me. But all I do is complain my problems to her.

I feel really lousy, not being able to help my friends out much. In fact, I don't think I'm helping my friends at all.

Thanks to my work colleagues for treating me to dian xin lunch at lion city today! :D And speaking about work, red is in at work today! HSBC Insurance had some meeting today, and a VIP would be attending that. From what I could gather, the people were dressed in red tops so as to welcome the VIP. Something about red being their trademark. But I'm not very certain either. I do know that I was shocked when I came to work today and saw so many of them in RED. I didn't even see that much people wearing red during cny. But it's quite cool! The HSBC identity.

Thanks to jj for calling me and wishing me a happy birthday too! It was really a surprise getting your call, especailly when you just came back from field camp and had a tiring day! I appreciated that call! :)

Whee! I had a great weekend! (:

I actually didn't do anything today, except to meet up with jac and wanling for dinner. But I happily slept until noon today. I was quite tired on saturday! I came home, brushed my teeth, and fell asleep on the sofa last night. I must say it's uncomfortable sleeping on the sofa!

On saturday, I met up with jon, wynee and meiying for klunch. Jonathan is quite funny when it comes to singing chi songs! Hohoho. He'll try his best to read the chinese words and go lalala if he doesn't know how to pronounce the word. And I'm bad at singing! =x

Then I went to watch Forbidden Kingdom! It's an interesting and super funny movie! The plot is definitely one that won't happen in real life. Nonetheless, I enjoyed this entertaining show. :D We actually wanted to catch the 1350h timeslot, but it was left with front row seats. So we ended up catching the 1450h show. And in between we just walked around.

Dinner was with mingjie, liwen and yiting at Waraku! We didn't plan to eat there initially. Actually, we didn't even plan where we wanted to eat, except to meet at Orchard. After mingjie sent her phone for repairs, we debated for long time before deciding to eat at Waraku..And I got my first birthday present from them! *grins* Thanks for the bag!

Jasmine and brother got a shirt and necklace for me too! Wheee. Thanks thanks! *maucks* I especially like the necklace! Hee. But I had to flip through the newsweek magazine to look for clues and guess where my present was hidden! Hmmphhh.

Bleah. Not a good day at work today. Sobs. I just feel that I'm not doing a good job, although I'm trying my best. Jia you JOYCELYN!!!! I'll finish up with the catch up and be efficient! I shall not be bothered by the complaint that wasn't directed to me!

let's hope you keep to what you agreed on. otherwise it'll just be another disappointment. and there won't be a third chance.

Met up with sel, yt, tanjin and fabian yesterday and we went to the minds cafe at clarke quay. It's my second time there in a week! And as usual, I had lots of fun there! We played dividend and the games which fabian and I played on saturday as well! Wheee. Now i know who's the ugly ugly. *coughs* It was definitely an enjoyable night.
