Farewell assembly 2007

The night before, I slept at 0230h, having stayed up to prepared for gifts for our beloved subject teachers. Reaching school at around 0715h, I went to the ODAC table. It would be our last gathering..

missing odacians in the pic!

After our last official morning assembly, we proceded to the hall. Farewell assembly is an official event, so there was an external guest of honour invited. There was prize presentation of awards followed by concert items, as well as words of encouragement from the teachers to the students. I enjoyed the dance and choir performance the most! They're really good. *thumbs up* AJ teachers are really creative, to be able to come up with such interesting quotes relating to the subject they teach and our studies. Rate = [effort]2[attitude]2[sleep]0-mr eugene ng. I agree, so jia you jia you!

After the concert ended, we met up with mr cheng, who gave us our farewell gifts, then proceded to our homeroom. When we collected our results plus the school's and miss cai's farewell gifts, our class leaders also gave us farewell gifts; a pair of socks so that we can pull up our socks, an apple to keep the doctor away, a banana so that whenever we feel stressed out, we just need to say 'banana' and lastly, a fuse (=x I forgot the reason for giving us a fuse! Ahhhh.)

Having received the pair of socks, the entire class changed into the socks and told a class picture together! I think all of us look super ridculous together! hahaha. But it was fun. All the girls had on shiny hairpins as well, courtesy of weiyee. :)

and these are the gifts of the day.

imagine if ajcians have to come to school in this attire.

After taking enough pictures, we went to marina square's seoul garden for their lunch buffet. And so we sat there for close to 3h, eating and talking at the same time. Walking out of the restaurant at 1600h, we sat at the steps. Then, each of us shared with the class our own emotions. That has got to be the most saddening period for all of us, when we talked about separation. So as to be less saddened, we played games again before heading home.

And that, sums up an emotionally draining day.
To 27/06: Like what most of us have agreed upon, this class is definitely one of the best and most bonded classes we've ever been in. From amazing race to SL project to family day to amazing race to now, the entire class hashad many precious memories. All these will never be forgotten. And yes, i'll look forward to june 27 next year. There's so many words that I want to express to each and everyone of you, but i'll use 2 words to sum it up. THANK YOU. Let's all give our best shot this A's, so that mr yeong will not tear up our certs. We can do it.

I don't like this uncomfortable feeling that I'm experiencing now. Argh. We shouldn't let our mind wonder too much. Focusing about the world's problems would be a better choice. Right.

Happy Childrens' Day! :)

Our class had a toy gift exchange today, to celebration this special occasion. Each of us had to buy a toy that cost approximately $3 and then we would exchange it with another classmate. It's an interesting way to spend this day! And especially so for the guys as it would be their last children's day., since after NS, they'll be 'guys' and no longer kids. >.<

We danced to some folk dance today during PE lesson, where we turned and turned and turned and turned and turned. I lost count of the number of times we turned. It wasn't a strenuous workout, but still, the dance had us perspiring at the end.

I have a fetish for cute guys! Muahaha. I suppose most girls would also have the same fetish as well...after all, who is bothered looking at cute guys? And so, looking at eye candies will never fail to brighten up my day. *grins* On a more serious note, looking at ecs can help relieve some of the stress..and this doesn't equate to being superficial, because the character of a person matters too.
