Sobs. I can't upload all my obs photos! Blogger hanged yesterday when I tried to do it. I shall just upload one picture lest this hangs again and what I've typed is gone.
Our first ever group picture on day 1 of the course! :)
Hazel, Xi'er, Vincent and I joined the j1s for their pre-belumut training today, where we trekked for around 3h all the way from macritchie to bukit timah nature reserve. Some parts of the trek was quite familar since the 23rd comm passed by these areas last year. However, there were new places which we didn't explore before either. Overall, it was a pleasant journey with the 24th comm. They've got a high morale today. Hmmph. Chelsea actually drawed 2-2 with Bolton while Mancherster United won Everton with a score of 4-2! Murinho has a lower (or probably zero) chance of winning the EPL now with their 5 points difference. It's gonna be tough fight for their remaining EPL matches! Chelsea's play today was *shakes head*. I could see they wanted to win badly, but it was wrong of them to panick towards the end. On the other hand, Man Utd played well. Even while they were down 0-2, there was this optimision in them. After man u's first goal, the moral of their team when even higher and within minutes they scored another goal. I liked their last goal the best! Nice nice!
My brother came home from the army today! He reached home at around 10 plus this morning, shortly after I woke up. Hmm. I realised that I do miss him. *gives funny face* And he's suddenly like much nicer now. He even sent me to venus road just now (even though he didn't know the way and I had to give him directions). Thank you. =)Hmm. I talked to kenneth on the phone for around an hour after the soccer matches. I just hope things will turn out fine...and yes, we both agree that man utd played well. Maybe like him, I'll support man utd next time. Maybe. Thanks meiying jieying and jeanice for your concerns! *muacks* I'm touched. I love you peeps! hee. *grins*

MIDNIGHT!/ Tuesday, April 24, 2007
Today's one of those rare days where I can go home early. Lessons ended at 1345h since our mass civics lesson was pushed forward earlier. Once in a while, it's great to be able to go home and still see the sun and relax for a while.
Then again, I was slightly reluctant to go home so early today. Initially, I wanted to go down to CCAD to support ajc's volleyball team in their match against acjc. However, I couldn't find anyone to go with me. sobx. Anthony and I wanted to go down, but then, by the time his lesson ended, the match would have ended as well. Thus, neither of us went down.
So since I didn't go down to watch the match, I thought I would have lunch with yt outside school. We seldom have the opportunity to have lunch outside school. Sadly though, she didn't want to have lunch with me. It was more crucial that she had lunch with jj. So I thought I would be a loner and go home and buy my own lunch. However, at the foyer, I saw xf and she had no where to go as well. Hence, both of us went to amk hub for a subway lunch. We stayed at subway for around an hour eating and talking before heading home.
When the people around you start to get attached, especially your close friends, it's inevitable that you'd feel out. Agree? That's how I feel anyway. At times it's quite hurting that your close gf starts to spend less time with you, seldom listen to your problems unless you happen to see her and come running to you when she face problems with her bf. Perhaps I should be thankful that she still confides in me when she's feeling troubled over relationship issues. Actually, when the relationship first begun, I told myself that it's alright to have an extra guy tagging along when you go out with your gf. It really was. The outings were fun. But there were times when I badly needed someone to confide in and you weren't there and I didn't know who to look for. There were also times when I wanted to only have a females only outings...when was the last time we shopped/watched a movie/had a meal together? Have you ever wondered if I'll feel left out, especially now that all 3 of you are attached? I know I'll have to think from your perspective as well. Now that you're attached, you don't have to confide in me anymore. And you'll need to divide your time equally with him as well as your other friends. Naturally, we'll take the back seat. So yeah, I can't do anything much expect to be a silent supporter? lolx.So I officially turned 18 yesterday. 18; the legal age to watch M18 movies, buy alcoholic drinks...thanks to kenneth, jj, stacy, yt, sel, siti, meiying, ariana, indra, amelia, anthony, jerlyn, jieying, joleyn, weiling, jasmine, jeremy, zhao cong, jinxin, henrietta, jocelyn, joanne, wanling, shirlyn, daniel, wanqing, fabian, yongbiao, yuanhan, jeanice, huizhen, wynee, jia chang and jonathan for your birthday wishes! Especially many many many thanks to odacians for what you people did for me! I never expected you people to put a cake with a lighted candle into my locker and then singing a birthday song for me. It was a pleasant surprise for me. I was sincerely touched by what you people did! Thank you! *muacks* :) Thanks also to mummy and daddy for buying me a big cake and having to wake up so early just to sing me a birthday song!
cakes and more cakes! I'll get fat. =xI lost my phone on sunday! sobx. I think I left it on bus 403 on the journey back from prssc to the bus interchange. I suppose I thought that I had placed my phone into my bag during the bus ride. It was only when I needed my phone before dinner that I found out that I had lost my phone. And I know that someone definitely took my phone. The first time I called, there was a ringing tone followed by a dial tone. The phone was switched off the second time I called. Therefore, all my contacts are gone. Thankfully, I didn't lose a expensive phone and I got my new phone on sunday night itself. So while all my contacts are gone, my new phone has got a 1.3megapixel camera, bluetooth, can play music and has a 3G function. yays.

My first birthday gift is here, thanks to jeremy and jasmine! :) It's a ...*drum roll*... abercrombie and fitch skirt! Actually, I got the skirt a week back. However, the 2 Js thought that I was thin enough to fit into the *secret* size skirt. Too bad I had to disappoint them. I want to slim down! -.-So, I met up with jasmine in town today to change the size of the skirt. I realise that this newly acquired skirt is relatively short compared to my other skirts! Is that good or bad? Anyway, both of us didn't shop around alot. We changed the skirt size, then walked to cineleisure for dinner at a japanese stall, walked around abit more after that and then went home. Bus no 5 is a fast way to get home from town! Yays. Another faster way to go home via bus now! =)Hmm. It's my first outing with jasmine today, and it wasn't as awkard as I thought it would be. Both of us are the friendly type, so we could click along just fine. I realise that people who just know me recently all say I'm quite funny! Am I? jj and jas both said so. How so how so? Is it my actions and what I say? Oh yes, I forgot to tell jasmine something just now! Hmm. Hopefully she'll read my blog and know what I want to tell her? haha.To jasmine: Hey girl! You shouldn't be thinking too much about her! You know what, I realise that I don't even know her name but I know yours! So, it shows that you're not inferior in any way okay! Plus you're friendly and nice and kind and cute! :)

So just because I have a strand of white hair, I have to have my head collide against meiying's head.My head may be an "empty vessel" (which I beg to differ), but it definitely doesn't deserve such treatment. Isn't the head the most important part of our body? So are you going to be responsible for my entire life if something serious had happened from the collision just now? Thank God there's no injury (I think), just pain. WHATEVER, not that it bothers you since you're only concerned with having fun. It's just a small matter anyway.
14 ODACians went for the choir concert together today! AJC choir is really really good! *clapclapclap* They do deserve the awards which they have been receiving. It's not an easy task coming to where they are today. The songs they sang were really nice and pleasing to the ear. I especially like Kucinta and Itsumo Nando Demo! Soothing, nice melody and great movement! :)It's my first visit to the esplanade concert hall despite having passed by there so many times. The esplanade concert hall doesn't have any reception. I think it was done on purpose, so that we would not get distracted by any incoming calls/messages. And the noise surround is good. If there's silence, you'd really hear silence. Yes, it definitely a good place to detach yourself from the world.Unfortunately though, a few people sitting behind us weren't considerate enough to remain quiet during the concert. Excuse me, but we paid $16 to listen and enjoy the melodious sound of music, not noise created by senseless chatter. It's only considerate and polite anyway, that we remain quiet when the choir is singing. That's basic courtesy.I saw a mini "explosion" on sunday! While walking to the bus stop, I saw white smokes on the road near my house. Initially, I thought the white smoke was caused by fumigation. However, when the traffic light turned green, I found out that it was actually a bus which was producing the white smoke. Then, as the bus neared the bus stop, there was suddenly a 'pop' sound. All the passagers had to evacuate off the bus. I think there was some problem with the bus engine, resulting in the 'pop' sound I heard.I saw my juniors on saturday when I went for kayaking! They were involved in city venture and thus had to move around different checkpoints. I hope they had did cedar np proud! I miss the days!

The j1s had their one star kayaking course today. Initially, meiying and I wanted to attach ourselves as trainee coaches to their group. Sadly though, there wasn't any more vacancy for us. I believe there will still be other opportunites to do so in future... Hence, both of us went to kayak with meiying, siti, hen, vincent, jiachang and jems. It's was a productive day! :) After going through the down stage, I've finally managed to master my roll! *clapclap* And this time round, I'm confident that I've really learnt this skill. Having more water time really helps. meiying, jia you jia you! you can do it.Nonetheless, I cannot be complacement. There's still other skills which I'll have to master as well. I've still yet to overcome my mini phobia of doing high recovery on my right side, plus my hanging draw...Jia you jia you! I can clear my 3 star assessment soon!

Friday the 13th. Why is it such an unlucky/bad/horrible day? Or is it just me that had a bad day today?First, I made some blunder for my chemistry spa. Now I can only hope that I won't be heavily penalised for that mistake. Then I found out that I did horribly for my project work. A C grade!! rahh. What went wrong? That I didn't do a good job in leading my group? We did put in alot of effort for our PW. But sadly, hardwork does not equal to results. Okay, so other people put in alot of effort for their PW as well. Point noted. I'm just complaining and feeling sad that my group didn't even get a B. :(I'm tired, not just physically but emotionally as well. Drained of energy and emotions. I seemed to be numb to some of the unhappy feelings now. I have alot of questions in my mind, but I don't know how to answer them.Anna bought up an interesting point about being tired and sleepy just now. If you're sleepy, you're not necessarily tired. You can still continue to do physical exercises like running. However, if you're tired, that won't happen. You badly need a rest when you feel tired.Maybe I'm too selfish and think too much about myself. But don't what I say sound reasonable? Or am I making up excuses so that I can do what I really want to do?

I wasn't in the best of mood this morning. Conscience was pricking me because I didn't finish my homework. I suppose that was the reason why I woke up automatically at 0350 this morning. Sadly, despite waking up so early, I still didn't manage to complete all my work. I was feeling sleepy duing lessons as well. Haix. =(I didn't finish my essay. But thankfully, mr cheng didn't flare up as I expected him to be. He must have been disappointed at me though. And it's my own fault. Bad time management! :(Since it was raining in the late afternoon, stacy and I weren't able to do some PT at the school track. Hence, we decided to go to the school gym instead. It was our first time there! Hmm. Something new for the both of us. I had a great run using the treadmill and the usage of the equipments there. A great sense of accomplishment when I pushed myself in running 2.4km (and more). My 2.4km napfa test next monday will be as good as today! It shall be either the same standard as today or even better! I shall aim for under 12minutes. My brother's going to enlist in the army tomorrow. I'm gonna miss him! Though he has been mean to me, there are times still when he's really nice and pleasant. I wonder how much he'll change when I see him 2 weeks later..thanks jeremy for your early birthday gift today! jasmine as well! Thank you. :) I do appreciate the gift both of you got for me and the time spent in sourcing for it.

For a change, aj physics teacher wasn't the one giving us a lecture today. Instead, a guy from the Institute of Material Research and Engineering (IMRE) came to speak to us during the lecture slot. It was quite a informative talk, where we learnt about the different facilities availabe - their uses, advantages and disadvantages. Eg. the uses of a scanning tunnelling microscope. It's a pity that the lecturer was abit soft at times, leaving me being unable to fully comprehend what he was saying. Somehow, his voice reminds me of mr bean! >.<ODAC. Water confidence session. Yio Chu Kang Swimming Complex. It was awkard in the beginning, having to wear a swimsuit in front of so many people. I didn't feel comfortable at all. Luckily, I didn't feel that uneasy as time passed. phew. Tylson was there as well! It's probably the first time where we are holding a water confidence session for our juniors. A brand new experience. I'm glad that it didn't turn out badly. The j1s enjoyed the activity I think. I heard alot of laughter from them. And yes, playing 'umjiji' underwater is super hilarious..I've got tonnes of homework to complete within the next 3h! I can do it. Jia you jia you! Singlish 02 essay + essay plan + mindmap, abortion microlessons, 3 newspaper articles, econs internation transactions DRQ, maths vectors (3), chemistry podcast ... here I came!Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Behold, I come quickly: hold theat fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my GOD, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon Him the name of my GOD, and the name of the city of my GOD, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my GOD, and i will write upon him my new name.Compared with
Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name.Hmm. 2 different versions of the bible, but both from the same scripture and talking about the same thing.

Yays. No school for j2s today and tomorrow. Fortunately and unfortunately, we have to do e-learning online. The school's ivle system is super lag now because 800 plus students are accessing to the programme at the same time. I'm not against the idea of e-learning, but if the school wants us to be productive, they should ensure that ivle can function well. Should the system breaks down, they should be some back up plan such as emailing us the slides which requires us to do sdl. It's a waste of time if we spend more than an hour just waiting for the webpage to load and in the end we still don't get our work done because we give up after wasting an hour. And you'll accuse us of not being responsible as well. Is that really our fault?Thank God that today is e-learning day though. I wasn't able to wake up early today. I suppose I must have been super tired after obs. I dozed off without switching off my computer again. Hmm.We have grown further apart now..sometimes I wish things could go back to the past. What if my answer had been different when you asked me then? Nonetheless, I'm glad that we're still friends now and you're still someone whom I can confine in. :)

Kayak Level 1 Coach Training Course. 3 days, 2 nights. OBS. P.ubin.It was an enriching course, and I got the chance the learn many new things, mainly soft skills. We got the opportunity to kayak in the swimming pool as well. The swimming pool is a good place to practise and perfect static skills! It's so much clearer when you open your eyes underwater there. I still didn't manage to overcome my down stage for the eskimo roll, but I definitely did improved my skills, something which I'm pleased about. Many thanks to chris for helping meiying and I with our skills! Plus your massage as well!13 of us went for the kayaking course, out of which guys made the majority. Only 4 girls! We got to sleep in the area with the least mosquitoes though. =) Day 2 night was probably when all of us got very very high. Or is it just me? Hmm. After washing up, most of us gathered in the main area. And the blanket game begun. Myra was supposed to show meiying and I 10 items under the blanket. The moment the blanket was thrown over us however, pillows came flying at our direction. Hmmph. Both of us were whacked super hard. Ouch. And when we kicked off the blanket, I only saw edison hitting me. Revenge time! I grabbed a pillow and started to whack him. I only found out that he hit me once after I re-saw the entire process where we were whacked, which had been video-d. =.= Subsequently, I made the bad choice of entering the guys room and got whacked by them. :l Meiying's towel was stolen! *gasps* After much investigation, it was discovered that desmond took her towel by accident and used it. Lance then lent her a new piece of towel. A triangle (literal translation) relationship!Water time was fun as well! Besides being exposed to various teaching methods, we played games as well! I got splahed continuously with water though by 2 guys who ganged up against me! hmmph.300307. innovation and enterprise day. It was a fun day! yepp. My class first went to 1024 to look at some pictures-that's the gp component- and then went to 132 for a history lesson where we got to decided the fate of the cold war. The least interesting activity took place at the PE dept wheere we had to come up with a modified game. The science activity was interesting; i learnt that red cabbage can be used as an indicator! lol. The 2 most interesting and fun activites have to be the maths and languages..we played a game about ap,gp under time constraint and managed to break the record for maths. *claps* We did a crap play for the gan lan shu song as well. It was super funny! Everything was recorded down in jonathan's camera. Since for we managed to complete most of our actitives 15 minutes earlier, we always ended up playing 'ummjiji'. We even came up with our own ops cheer! I loved having such a bonded and fun class. =)270307. kenneth's b'dae. 8 of us went down to mind's cafe to celebrate kenneth's birthday. It was fun playing this board game (i dunno what's it's called)! pizza party! treppy! haha. Anyway, after we left the place, kenneth and I walked to raffles city's subway to meet jieying for dinner. *ahem* It was nice of the birthday boy pei me walk to raffles city instead of taking the train! :)The 24th batch of ODACians are out. After much discussion, 30 of them have been selected. Sadly, not everyone could be selected due to logistical constraint and other factors. The time spent with all 49 of them during the selection camp was fun though. I still can't believe that ironically, my group guys went to bathe and we ended up being the first group to set off when the adventure race started. =.= Yes, the selection had been fun and it was successful, but mentally tiring..
