There was quite alot of going on in my office today! Or perhaps it only applies to me? Hmm. Between this week and last week, we already have 2 new staffs in my department. 1 of them came this morning and she'd be taking over my job when I leave the company on 14mar. I heard she's going to work for 1 year there! The other staff that came last week is a permanent staff..seems like the employee benefits department has quite a shortage of staff. Then I think 1 staff got sacked last week. That's what I gather..I've been hearing things here and there and put some things together. She hasn't been performing up to standard from what I've inferred. And so, because of the new perm staff that arrived last week, I've been moving house practically every day. When the new staff Shirley came last monday, I had to move to a seat with a computer. Then another contact staff went on study leave and I could use her computer for my assigned work. When she came back, I had to moved to another staff's place who had gone a long holiday. And today, I was told to move ,again, to the seat where the staff that is no longer with the company sat. So I've got like so many neighbours during my job stint there! But I think this will be last time that I'll be changing seats..Besides that, I've got more work on my hand now! I was slightly overwhelmed today, because my table was super messy and because of the work I was suddenly tasked to do. The departure of that particular staff meant that part of her workload had been transferred to me. Her table wasn't exactly very neat, so I felt uncomfortable using her place. In a way, I'm forced to become even more efficient as well, because I want to complete all the work that's tasked to me. If I don't finish what I feel I should finish today, it'll pile up. There's just new claims coming in everyday! However, it's not easy task no matter how fast I try and chiong finish my work, especially with the quality which I'm expected to deliever as well. Qualitatively, there's quite alot to complete, so even doing a simple task for sending letters can take me hours to do.Whee! I saw part of the airshow yesterday! Free of charge as well. Hoho. I was a free rider, looking at the performance in the comfort of the kayak and the sea. But of course I couldn't see the entire show, partly because I wasn't watching the show from the correct angle and partly because visibility wasn't that fantastic. Kayaking for the past 2 sundays have definitely been effective. I've picked up tips on how to improve on my skills and to correct my mistakes. Thanks to those who've helped me! I hope I can pass my assessment on 23mar! There isn't much time left to perfect my skills now..And during lunch last sunday, this lady that was roller blading knocked into me and pushed me to the ground. She had difficulty stopping while going down the slope so she asked for help. Naturally, I extended my hand and then she pushed me down just so she could stop herself. She destroyed our lunch in the process! I happened to be holding the food, and I forgot about it..so I had a broken slippers because of the fall and an injured leg. Luckily my physical wounds are healing well. Then there was yiting's birthday last week! Mingjie, yt and I went ministry of food to celebrate. It's slightly pricey, but I feel that the service there is good. *thumbs up* They have attentive and polite staffs! I'll definitely go back again if an opportunity arises. Not a bad ambiance too. 3 of us shared 2 sets of dinner and sat there for quite long, before heading to starbucks where we got a mini cake for the birthday girl. :DI think this weekend has been full of surprises as well, in the sense that I got to meet so many for my friends. There was the ntu talk so alot of people my age went for it and I saw many of them..I saw some guy friends at pasir ris mrt yesterday evening too! (:

DIGUSTING IDOITIC STUPID LOUSY MORONIC THIEF. Why the hell do you want to steal my bicycle? I think you're just being plain greedy. Doesn't it hit on your conscience that taking others' stuff is absolutely wrong? Wait, you've already done it. So it just mean that you have no morals at all THEIF. And it goes to show what a low class person you are too, to have to resort to stealing just to get a bike. RIGHT. So it has been a real lousy day. I lost my bicycle. DAMM IT. I only replaced the wheels and my seat and added in headlights 3 weeks back and I lose it today. Seriously, the thief couldn't have chosen a better period than to steal my bike during na nian chu wu of chinese new year. SERIOUSLY. Like HELLO THIEF, I spend over a $100 of my OWN PAY to make this bicycle look decent and easily spend 20 ODD HOURS polishing it to make it shine just so you can STEAL IT. CONGRATES. So I thought I already learnt my lesson the previous time when another thief (i'm assuming it's not the same person) stole my wheel and seat of this same bike, when I parked it outside my house. I ignored that bicycle for 2 years and when I finally decided to repair it, I lose it in less than a month. GREAT. I got myself 2 locks this time round too, to lock both the front and back wheels. LIKED IT HELPED. The BRILLANT thief used a cutter/saw and simply cut/saw the lock through. Doesn't matter that the lock was quite thick. He/She just left a souvenir of that bigger lock for me, on the grass patch. *CLAPS* Am I plain unlucky or what? Someone teach me how I can prevent my bicycle from being stolen? The thief is just forcing me to walk to work everyday. I don't trust myself to use the other bike, much as it's been with us for a longer time. zZz. And I'm not angry at the thief, but just feeling plain sadness. Sad because I've spent so much time and effort and money on this bike. I didn't have it with me for a long time, but there's definitely feelings attached to it. My first bicycle where I paid for part of it, where I dedicated time to cleaning it, and it's gone with the wind. It's really hurting. When I was at the bicycle stand this evening, I simply stared at all the bicycles there, searching in vain for my lost bike. I was stunned. My next reaction was to call my dad, but I couldn't even remember his number and had to search my phonebook. And later on the tears started coming. I can't comprehend why the thief wants to be a thief. Then again, if I understood, I would have become a thief. With Singapore experiencing economic growth the past few years, coupled with low unemployment rate, is there a need to STEAL? Don't give me the bullshit about rising standard of living. Everyone is facing that, but not everyone goes around stealing. I don't see why you should, THIEF. I assume too, that you can ride the bicycle, or in the very least, have movable arms and legs, to be able to carry/ride my bicycle away. Since you have limbs and are not disabled in any way, why are you looking for a quick buck? Go get yourself a decent job with a stable earning. Have some pride.HMMPH. I condemn the actions of the sneaky thief! And that's a daring thief too, to steal my bicycle in the broad daylight. I'm not going to curse you, but I believe you'll be nabbed sooner or later. Watch your ass you thief! So I lodged a police report about this incident, but I doubt they'll be able to recover my bicycle back. :( Funny why the police didn't suggest on how I could have prevented my bicycle from being stolen. Low crime rate, but it definitely doesn't mean no crimes. To add on to the loss of my bicycle, my computer refuses to corporate with me. It's LAGGING. Like super. And I can't print nor scan. I nearly couldn't join NVM, if not for meiying's help. xie xie wor!

The New Rules Of Attraction
Old rule: You can tell if you’re truly attracted to someone in three seconds.
New rule: You can’t tell if you’re truly attracted to someone until you’ve had three dates .
The reason: People are a bundle of nerves on date #1, begin to unwind on date #2, but only by date #3 can people truly relax and maybe build some rapport.
Old rule: Your mate must meet all the criteria on your “must list”.
New rule: A “must list” looks great on paper, but paper won’t keep you warm at night .
Old rule: When it’s true love, you think about this person constantly.
New rule: When it’s true love, thinking about this person makes you feel good.
Constantly thinking about another person isn’t love, it’s infatuation, and infatuation has no correlation with being a good match. Ultimately, it’s a better gauge to assess the quality of your thoughts rather than the quantity. “If you have warm and comfortable feelings when you think about your date, that indicates a relationship built on stability, trust, and a strong ‘friendship’ factor, denoting a relationship that will more likely wear well over time,” says Piers. If, on the other hand, your relationship keeps you up all night as you analyze this person’s emails for hidden messages that reveal his or her true feelings, you may be chasing down someone who doesn’t really want to be yours.
