What does my future lies?

Bleh. Another nightmare yesterday. :( I dreamt that I missed my Bangkok flight. I was heading to the airport only 45minutes before the plane was scheduled to take off. Naturally, when I reached the budget terminal, it was too late to check in. Then I went to the departure area and saw a bus where supposedly, it was making the last trip from the terminal to where the aeroplane was. So I went up and talked to the driver and he asked me to get on the bus, and it didn't matter that I didn't have a proper plane ticket. I just had to make sure I had a seat on the plane. Then I dunno if I managed to board the plane because I woke up after that. Sigh. Such dreams nowadays. What's going through my mind man.

Hmm. The H1N1 virus seems to have gotten more serious..."The World Health Organisation (WHO) alert level is at Phase 5; Phase 5 is characterized by human-to-human spread of the virus to at least two countries in one WHO region. Singapore's Ministry of Health’s (MOH) Disease Outbreak Response System (DORSCON) Alert status is now upgraded from Yellow to Orange. In view of the heightened alert status, the Ministry of Education has advised that the University begin daily temperature-taking for staff, students and visitors to the University. At the same time, the University has suspended all official travel for staff and students from 30 April to 15 May 2009. With the rapid evolution of the situation, this restriction will be reviewed in a timely manner."

So nussummit has been postponed/cancelled!! :( :( Such a spoiler, because I was looking forward to the camp. For one, I haven't gone camping for ages (the last camp I remember was the ODAC selection camp?!). And I was looking forward to the activities such was white water rafting too because I haven't tried that before!!! I hope the camp is only postponed not cancelled. *prays hard that the flu situation will improve*

Then "'All examination venues will be open one hour prior to the start time of each scheduled examination for temperature screening"'. Sigh. Means that us students taking exams must go to the exam venue earlier to take our temperature. On top of that, "from Monday, 4 May 2009, all students will be required to monitor their own temperatures on a daily basis and record our temperature reading online at https://aces01.nus.edu.sg/prjvhs/index.html by 10am each day." So, we're back to the SARS period of having to take our temperature each day.

Took bus 15 to tampines yesterday cos I had enough of mugging and decided to go borrow some books to read. Heh. But that's not the main point. Anyway I boarded a crowded bus so I was standing near the entrance door. At a particular bus stop, some passengers wanted to alight from the front entrance so I politely stepped down onto the pavement for them to alight. Then when I've yet to completely board the bus again, the bus driver closed the front entrance. zZz. So I was kiaped by the front door momentarily until someone notified the bus driver and he opened the door again. I got sort of pissed off la. How can a bus driver be so inconsiderate and didn't notice if anyone was boarding the bus! Where's his sense of safety man. The bus driver didn't even apologise to me when it's his fault! Irritated me just gave him a pissed off look and totally condemned him. And I half wanted to discriminate foreign workers after that experience. Yea. But I'm not so mean.
