MIDNIGHT!/ Friday, September 19, 2008
I shall revive this blog again! Haa. Been neglecting this blog, because I find it more troublesome to switch on the computer and then jot down what I'm thinking. It's much more convenient to to keep a personal diary.Anyway, I've been busy with alot of stuff lately!1. Studies. I just completed 3 mid term tests this week! Thankfully. I definitely feel less stressed out now. Recess week is coming up, and I only have 1 test after the break, so it'll be good to take a breather during this period! :D 2. Training. It's been only a few weeks that I joined canoe polo, but already, I can find myself getting hooked onto this water sport. Enjoying myself! Hee.3. Coaching. Am pretty satisfied with my progress now...shows that the time and effort which I spend has been worth it! I shall continue to work hard!4. Driving lesson. I'm having my practical exam in another month! I want to pass it on my first attempt! Haa.That aside, something interesting happened yesterday! 4 completely unknown guys, from Brunei talked to me on the train. At that time, I was heading towards Tampines from Boon Lay after meeting yt and sx at jurong point for dinner...so I happily revised my German vocabulary since it was a long journey and then the guy that was sitting besides me started a conversation with me, asking me what I was learning. It's pretty uncomfortable to have someone stare at what you were doing. I find it quite rude. Too bad I chose to study on train. Got to make full use of the long journey! Back to the story...so the conversation carried on, because it was only polite that I response to his question, and subsequently, his 3 other friends joined in as well. The 4 of them were studying Chinese and working at the same time...Throughout the conversation, I was feeling pretty much uncomfortable. I wasn't used to people just chatting up with me. Somehow, I feel that they have an ulterior motive. Plus the fact that they were guys. And before they alighted, they left me their emails so that they could continue to keep in contact with me. Sorry guys, it takes more than a conversation that I wasn't comfortable with at all for me to do that.Training today was special! We celebrated the september babies birthdays...I'm in a team where half of them were born in sep! Lizard got the cake, and we attempted to keep it a surprise for the september babies. Not sure if it was a successful one though, but I hope they enjoyed it! Haha. The chocolate cake was yummyy!! *grins* I'm quite happy with my throws today as well. I think there has been improvement! Hee. And I was still feeling demoralised last training because I felt that I was improving. Perhaps the fact that I didn't have any upcoming tests put some stress of me and I could play better.Going off to dreamland now! Nitez. :D
