It's no use crying just because you're stressed out. It won't decrease your stress level anyway. But why do the crying come naturally? Hmm.I did my first flag day yesterday! Together with half of 27/06, we went around selling hearty pins to raise funds for the Singapore Heart Foundation. The class met up at 8.30am,went to collect the pins, had breakfast at j8 macs then went to city hall to sell the pins. After collecting the pins and collection tins, we gathered at the entrance of j8, near the optican shop area. Then, the security guard came up to us and chased us off fiercely!! Hmmph. He said that we were blocking the passageway and assumed that we were collecting funds there! But in reality, we were merely discussing where we should have our breakfast. So since we had to respect the security, we walked off reluntantly. At city hall, the class splited into 2 groups again, since it wouldn't be practical if all of us crowded at one area. Half of us went to marina square while the other half went to suntec. From marina square, Yiting and I walked all the way to raffles place!! I'm making a generalisation that singaporeans at raffles place are stingy. They weren't willing to donate. But of course, there are kind singaporeans too. The people wearing the uniquely singapore shirt sitting outside the esplanade had already donated to the red cross but then still forked out $2 each for the hearty pins. Kind souls they were! Some others whom we approached simply showed us the red cross sticker and then declined to donate.Later on, kah ho, jia chang yiting and I went to the kfc at funan for lunch then headed back to the office to return the tins. Out of the 20 pins given to us, i only managed to sell 9 pins. Not everyone was willing to pay $2 for it though one of them bought the pins because it was cute. And the crowd wasn't there so early in the morning too.ODAC on friday was enjoyable! 17 odacians went for dinner together at macs together! Yays. It's the first time, but certainly won't be the last! =) PT was great too.As for the sea expdition, I have a lot to say! But then, I'm going to keep my feelings to myself.Recently, I've been straying away from God. Not been keeping up with my prayers and reading the bible. Studies seemed to have taken the priority. But it won't remain that way any longer! No matter what, God is and will always be more important than studies. :)
