The papers aren't easy. But then it's not like the papers can't be done and you can't score either. Somehow or another, perhaps under exam conditions where what I have memorised and studied seem to have flown out of the window, I wasn't able to put my thoughts into words. Or perhaps I have been overly confident that the amount of time I have spent for revision had been sufficient enough to remember all the facts when it was not.

Sadly, I'm not confident of scoring well for the common tests.

Chemistry was tough, though I have to admit that if you studied really really hard and did more practices, you would be able to score well. But I just didn't understand chemical bonding well enough to write a good answer. Not to mention that there wasn't enough time too. I'm also disappointed that I would feel at a loss when attempting the questions. I actually spent majority of my revision time revising chem. Yet, there's blanks in the answers.

As for maths, I'll be happy if I can pass. I wasn't able to finish all the questions. That's what happens when you don't practice enough. When it came to doing the paper, I got struck at a few questions trying desperately to recall what I've done before. I wasn't able to immediately write down the solutions, which can actually be done had I had enough maths practice.

Doing the econs paper reminded me of social studies, where we all had to rush against time to complete 2 essays questions within 45 minutes. It wasn't a problem penning down your thoughts, but it was a problem fighting against time. Perhaps I will do well for econs, but only if my case study is not badly done. And I didn't know that you have to complete the essay paper and hand in first before you can do the case study question.

AJ doesn't provide writing materials for us. Why not I wonder?

There's only 2 more papers to go, chinese and physics, but I'm not excited for them. Especially for physics. Chemistry was already bad enough, so physics will be even worse. Definitely.

Apparently, there's been quite alot of exciting soccer matches this week- england vs ecuador, italy vs australia, brazil vs ghana and spain vs france. And I've been missing all of them because of preparation for the common tests. =( Has the sacrifice been worth it? Especially since I'm not performing as well as I would want to. There's beckam's trademark bending free kick, the penalty kick which was deemed as a harsh decision, ronaldo's 15-goal record and the match which left many of spain supporters disappointed, all of which I missed! I could only catch glimpses of it on youtube today.

I'm determined to catch the next match between germany and argentia on friday at 11pm. And the match of Italy vs Ukraine. And England vs Portugal. And Brazil vs France. In other words, it's all the remaining matches. After all, the exams would have ended by then.
